About fifteen years ago, Anders and Pontus met over lunch in Nice and spoke about the possibility of creating a destination in Sweden - a place where wine, food, people, and life could exist side by side.

Years passed until one day Anders called Pontus and said: “Now I have the land.”

What began as an idea for a vineyard grew into something much larger. Today, Vingården 2:9 is three parts of a single project: a place to stay in the heart of the vineyards, a meeting point through Vinbaren 2:9, and a living vineyard that sets the tone for the place.

This is not about filling the days with as much as possible. Quite the opposite. The intention is to create a place where it is easy simply to be. To look out over the hills, have a glass of wine in the evening sun, and let life slow down for a while.
